Production log 4

This week had been a lot of work , what i filmed this week and edited this week was the per-recorded section of through the keyhole, Dance challenge and The introduction of the show. We had filmed these section on June the 9th & 10th this was slightly later on then what the schedules said, We had to delay on section of the pre-recorded section from Thursday to Friday as this was the dance challenge because one of the outside members of our team became unavailable o  that day due to an interview they had, and  this was also due to the booking of the location as we had at booked the same time as the interview.

For the Through the Key hole section i had edited a section, the director saw it and said to cut it down to 7 min because 10 min was too long. so i did you can see this blow as the video labeled TTKH short or Through the key hole. I had created 6 similar edit for the dance challenge, as i edited this on the week end and was unable to meet up with the director, each edited has an element taken out of the edit. I have created 7 different edits for the intro,because of the time as i need to speak to the VT operator to ask how long the opening montage is, because in the running order it say 1 min long combined, i have edited them each to an individual length or different structure and speed, I have left out the music as i need to speak with the director and sound mixer about what type of music we should add.

The director told me to make some changes to the dance challenge and to and music to the intro.

What i did this week in my role is that i filled out a schedules of when the section of the pre-recorde would be filmed. So what I had to do is ask all of the people that are in the pre recorded that are within and without of the production team on where there are avalible to film to i could plan out the date the dates were pretty similar to i was easy to choose date to record. I also worked out dates that i would be able to edit the footage as i had to work around my exam which was good was the date i had were 2 days apart from my exam.

How successful this week was to me is that I through I did not do at lot of work. As i through i could have done more but by the work i had completed i saw was pretty successful and up to the standers.WE haven't yet me and the VT operator have not been successful on getting snapchat reaction as the people that we have asked are either camera shy or not getting back to us.

What i needed to change was not a lot but by speaking to the presenter and asking Faris what question he will ask in the interview were written down but the director did not want the question to be related to the production but about the idea of the much video so me, the presenter Faris and director Jeeven came up with better question for the interview.

What i will be doing next week is that i will be filming the interviewer that would contain Faris, Ben, Usama and Farhan. I would be helped by the director and the VT operator, This will be filmed on the Wednesday the 1st of June . I will be also filming the Through the key hole segment of the show. which will be filmed on Friday the 3rd of June. who we will need there will be me, the presenters which is Faris,Jamaine , the director Jeeven, and Mathew the VT operator. We also have to gather snapchat reaction of music video for the show.

Who i worked with this week was the VT operator what we did together was that we produced a structure of how the pre recored would be filmed, the director i confirmed  and developed the structure with him as if there was anything that he wanted to change , the vision mixer i spoke to him about the transition and the style that the pre- recorded shown be viewed like, the sound mixer i asked for what kind of music the show would have and ask of section that would add to the pre record that would link up with the show and Presenters i ask them for dates there were available and what question there would say and what music there would use.

What i did on this half term was that there that i filmed the interview of which were Faris is

askeing the question and Ben, Usama and Farhan are answering the question, I have Mathew There to help with the recored. But the director was unable to make it , How we resolved this is that we spoke to Jeeven on the phone to comfirm everything and to say if the location was right.

The location that we were meant to film at was in the end was not available so we had a back up location of the park which was in Ilford. We also had a problem on Wednesday which was the initial day to film which was lead to be raining all day so he prospered it to Thursday which was a much better day to film. The pre recorded section of through the key hole was meant to be filmed on Friday but we had to move it to a date later on next week because something important came up for half of the people that were meant to be placed r helping with the pre production.

Here you can see a introduction of where we are and who is at the day of the recording. Then you can see to different cut/edits of the interview, because i would like to give the director variety to chose for the show.
