Production Meeting Reflection 1

The production meeting went really good. How the meeting was run, was that they whole group sat around an oval shape structured desk. We all had around 4-5 minutes to sell our ideas to the class, we then asked for any question and responded to them. Then at the end we each individual voted for the best idea.

The group responded to my idea with a positive attitude. There liked the idea of the audience interaction of snapchat question, and also liked the idea of the time lapse at the beginning of the show. But however the set design was not visually bring across at first but through explanation of the set design there understood.

The idea that i voted for was Jeevan show idea, this was because his show contains idea that were unique, and would not be seen on a music magazine show. Such as he had an idea of bring on a director, and show a pre recorded section of same gender sex, which showed the serious side of the show. I also liked the title of the show which was "Mega Media" as this is a memorable name, and sound really catchy.

The aspect of Jeevan idea that had related to his idea was, the show being related to a mainstream audience, as he implied this through the social media input on the show. He also had implied a traditional format of having a live performance on the show which is seen in most music show. He added in a section on the show which made it different he added a football section as this would allow him to bring a wider range of the audience sector, as football is a mainstream British doing.

The area in Jeevan idea that need to be developed is the chat show element of the show as there is hardly any talk about who will be interviewed on the show. As the show need to slowed done, as there is a lot of idea which would seen in the production all over the place. And also the section of the football aspect should be related and bring back to the music elements of things.

Other member in the group idea that i liked where Faris's, Ben's and Bleu's. The idea that Faris and Bleu both put forward where the rap battle sector, as this would allow more of the audience to come i, as the genre of rap is rapidly growing. I also liked the idea of Ben of having a Lads night out. it was an idea of recorded a time that a bunch of guys that go to a concert and record there experience and time at the concert , as this would have related to the British culture of things.
